The VERTECEMTM V+ Cement Kit consists of a closed mixing device for the preparation of PMMA-based bone cement, and comes with the polymer powder pre-loaded. A separate glass bottle containing the monomer is supplied in the same package.
The VERTECEMTM V+ bone cement is used to augment cancellous bone in the spine1 and is characterized by an extended application time2, a medium starting viscosity and a generous cement volume (20mL). Apart from 40% ZrO2 it also contains 15% hydroxyapatite.

VERTECEMTM V+ Bone Cement is a radiopaque, injectable polymethylmethacrylate cement indicated for use in spine pathologies being treated with augmentation and/or stabilization systems (e.g. Synthes augmentation and stabilization systems)3.
