Features & Benefits

Features and Benefits

Quick and safe application

  • With the RAPIDSORB Cranial Clamp, there is no need to drill or tap for screw/tack fixation. Instead, the application is an easy three-step procedure in which the implant is positioned, then intermediately adjusted and finally fixated with the application forceps. For the implantation, only one instrument is required. The instrument features a force-limiting mechanism that ensures appropriate compressive forces.

  • The clamp provides interference-free diagnostic imaging.

Easy preliminary fixation

  • The clamp shaft of the RAPIDSORB Cranial Clamp includes a ratcheting mechanism with small increments. This feature allows preliminary placement of the top disk until final fixation is achieved.

Resorbed in one year

  • The stability of the RAPIDSORB Cranial Clamp is provided as long as necessary, at least 8 weeks during the critical bone healing phase.
  • Despite its initial stability, the presence of the RAPIDSORB Cranial Clamp is as short as possible as the resorption time is approximately 1 year.
