The MILAGRO ADVANCE Interference screw improves ease of use when compared to traditional interference screws. The thread design offers bone engagement, rapid insertion and fixation strength. MILAGRO ADVANCE screws are also comprised of, BIOCRYL® RAPIDE™, a second generation Biocomposite material, formed by combining osteoconductiveβ-TriCalcium Phosphate and a faster absorbing Polylactide co-glycolide (PLGA) copolymer. A Human CT Imaging study of ACL reconstructions has shown that BIOCRYL RAPIDE absorbs and promotes bony ingrowth at the implant site2,3
