The femoral stem design is based upon 20 years of clinical experience using extensively coated cementless implants and shares its design rationale with the POROCOAT® porous-coated AML® Hip. The SOLUTION SYSTEM’s POROCOAT porous coating also has proven1 biological fixation, whilst long-term clinical results2-3 demonstrate that the Solution System’s extensive Porocoat coating increases the likelihood of long-term implant stability.
SOLUTION SYSTEM stems are designed to achieve strong cortical interlock, and are symmetrical (parallel sided) in order to make femoral preparation and implantation a straightforward and simple procedure.
The extensive range of cobalt chrome SOLUTION SYSTEM stems, as well as a range of femoral head options, ensures that the anatomic requirements of the patient are met. The SOLUTION SYSTEM is also compatible with both the PINNACLE™ and DURALOC® acetabular cup systems.
