chronOS™ Strip System is a synthetic, porous, resorbable and biocompatible bone void filler made from chronOS Granules with a defined, uniform pore structure imbedded in a matrix of poly(lactide-co-ε-caprolactone). The flexible composite provides contourability and malleability of the device to the bony implant site. The combination of chronOS Strip System with bone marrow by means of Bone Marrow Aspirate System (BMAS) accelerates and enhances osteointegration and is a valuable alternative to autologous or allogenic bone graft material.
chronOS Strip precast is a line extension of chronOS Strip System optimized for easy compatibility with posterior fixation systems. It eliminates the need to cut the strip intraoperatively.
chronOS Strip System is a bone replacement material of β-tricalcium phosphate imbedded in a matrix of poly(L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone). In its function as temporary bone substitute, it serves to fill and bridge aseptic bone defects1.
