The VERTECEMTM V+ Cement Kit consists of a closed mixing device for the preparation of PMMA-based bone cement, and comes with the polymer powder pre-loaded. A separate glass bottle containing the monomer is supplied in the same package.
The VERTECEMTM V+ bone cement is used to augment cancellous bone in the spine1 and is characterized by an extended application time2, a medium starting viscosity and a generous cement volume (20mL). Apart from 40% ZrO2 it also contains 15% hydroxyapatite.

The VERTECEM TM V+ Cement Kit bone cement is a radiopaque, injectable polymethyl methacrylate cement, indicated for use in spine pathologies being treated using vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty procedures. It should be used with devices or systems with which it has been tested and validated. For information on compatibility, consultation with a DePuy Synthes representative is recommended.
