TRAUMACEM™ V+ is a highly viscous PMMA cement. Its special composition allows immediate use after mixing, provides a long working time at room temperature and is highly radio-opaque for optimal visual control during application.
TRAUMACEM V+ Cement Kit is indicated for osteoporotic fractures of the upper and lower extremities and pelvis in combined procedures with internal fixation devices intended for PMMA augmentation1.
1 For the intended use and a complete set of indications, contraindications, warnings and precautions, see the instructions for use (IFU).
|Ready-to-use after mixing||Cost efficient as cement requires no waiting time before injectable viscosity is reached|
|High initial viscosity||Better control of cement flow therefore lowering the risk of potential leakage|
|Long working time (approximately 23 minutes at 20 °C with an 8 gauge cannula, 15 cm)||Stress reduction for surgeon and operating staff during application|
|Highly radio-opaque||Visual control during application|
|Complete modular system available with PFNA Augment and Philos Augment||Decision to augment can be made intraoperatively|
